From devastating tornadoes to earthquakes occurring on an ever-increasing frequency, we send our thoughts and prayers to the people affected by these natural disasters. How will anyone recover from these tragedies? To think others will follow is unimaginable. Although overwhelming we must look to the future with hope that new technologies will supersede the old and government’s involvement will allow new measures to be put in place to help protect the people and our environment.
As I sit in a hotel room in Las Vegas waiting for a dinner meeting I thought it was well overdue that I put pen to paper and craft an update.
I have been working on my third album for quite some time now and luckily have been given the chance to make sure it is right. On one hand there is always a sense of urgency to release a new album, but fortunately for everyone involved around me it is all about the music.
I reflect upon when I first went in the studio and can not believe I am still able to be on this journey…what an incredible luxury. How many people love what they do? Music is a great escape for whatever the situation and hopefully when the new album comes people will not be disappointed in the direction or the stories told.

Our hearts go out to the people on the east coast and beyond. From hurricanes creating vast flooding to earthquakes occurring in places that have never felt them before; and from wild fires blazing to extended droughts; we send our support to the people affected by these natural disasters. By itself, hurricane Irene has caused so much damage, to think another may follow is unimaginable.
How does anyone recover from such tragedy? Although overwhelming, we must look to the future with hope and promise that technology and government involvement will help to create the circumstances necessary to reverse the ongoing destruction of our environment. Are these disasters caused by global warming, or is this just mere coincidence that our waters are warming and the polar ice caps are melting? Regardless of the conditions, everyone is subject to the powerful effects of nature. Ultimately, we will only be able to protect ourselves when we truly protect our environment through the respect it so deserves.
As tragedy strikes Japan, the devastation is far beyond anyone’s imagination. Nature is so incredibly powerful. The extremes of it’s beauty and destruction affect everyone. We send our thoughts and prayers to the people of Japan.
